EXPERTISE
Principally social security, immigration, licensing and criminal defence work.
Immigration includes all areas of immigration law including asylum, entry clearance, settlement, student visa, bail, and human rights representation and advice.
Social security includes an interest in defending in social security and tax credit cases. Likewise licensing includes the Licensing Act, covering both pursuing applications, etc. and defending prosecutions arising from the Act.
Neil travels extensively as part of his practice and there are no geographical restrictions on his availability to represent. He has also maintained a strong sense of justice by appearing in cases where the rights of the individual are in issue.

Having taught/lectured a module on a university MA law degree.
Having been a member of the London Committee of the Citizens Advice Bureaux (the pan-London policymaking and management co-ordination body with responsibility for all CABx in London).
Amongst other publications, having proofread CPAG's National Welfare Benefits Handbook and the National Homeless Alliance's (formerly CHAR) Benefits Guide for technical accuracy.
Having served on the Management Committee of his local law centre.
