Ravinder has a broad spectrum of professional clients and over the years has built up a substantial practice. She specialises in housing, immigration and nationality and asylum law.

Housing Law/Civil: Ravinder’s practice includes residential landlord and tenant, disrepair and social and private sector housing. Ravinder has dealt with possession claims, money judgment claims and has advised local authorities on ASBO applications. She has a particular interest in the welfare benefit rights of asylum seekers and has advised clients including local authorities on NASS related issues and appeals.

Immigration: Ravinder’s practice focuses on the law concerning refugees, immigration law, and human rights law as applicable to immigration and/or refugee cases and administrative law/judicial review. Her experience extends to an increasing proportion of complex and/or politically sensitive cases in all of those areas. Her practice includes work in the Administrative Court and the Asylum and Immigration Tribunal. She has also been involved in applications to the European Court of Human Rights. As a Punjabi speaker, she is able to converse with those from the Indian sub-continent. Her wide-ranging practice covers applications, appeals and written advice in the following areas: Asylum, Deportation, Human Rights, Entry clearance (family, student, visitor, working holidaymaker, etc), business immigration and EEA applications.
